On Wednesday 17th July, I played at the wedding of Andy and Adeena. A lovely couple. It was a wonderfully hot day, actually a bit too hot. At the reception I played on the balcony overlooking the lawns and guests. I drank copious amounts of lemon barley water between each song to keep cool. Andy had requested a surprise song for his Bride, ‘My boy lollipop’ as Adeena’s Godmother is Millie Small, the artist who sung the song in the 60s. Actually I had a surprise for him too as I played the lick of ‘The Pink Panther’ before playing the requested song. This tune was a running joke in the preparations and between the Bride and Groom, they were both surprised!
I just love this designer blouse which I wore for their special day. Actually I had a very big hand in the design. It was made by Marilyn of We Make and Mend. The breeze lifted the layers in all the right places for this shot! 🙂
You really look good!
Thanks Kuda!
