Building dreams of Coton

Recently I was invited to Coton Green Church in Tamworth as the featured artist of the night.  The thing I like about opportunities such as this is that not only do I play but I get a chance to talk about my musical journey and share encouragement.  On this occasion the encouragement focused around fulfilling dreams and calling even when uncertainty creeps in.

I found the church building quite interesting.  A stylish complex set in picturesque grounds and the Church’s weekly events actively catering for the various social needs of their local community.  But check this out, the building was built by five of the church members, and I mean by their very own hands!  It took them 15 years, each applying the various trade skills and experience they have, but wow!  It is nothing like ‘the house that jack built’ and it is debt free!  Now that’s something else!
