A Lasting Tribute

I was struck by the impact Roy Reid’s life has had on his family and friends.  The care and attention of his sister Sonia, family and friends in making sure last Friday was a lasting tribute to the person they love as he is no longer with us.

I was also struck by his nephew who said that he had learnt what it is to be an uncle through the actions of his Uncle Roy with him.  To me, it waves the flag for good male role models in an age when it seems not many exist.

I am glad I was invited to play and be part of this occasion. A lasting tribute. Rest in peace Roy Anthony Reid.
