Fancy Some Gin?

Today I received an invitation from ‘Birmingham We Are’.  They have created a 2018 calendar called Birmingham Gems which contains some fantastic locations and interesting angles of landmarks within the city of Birmingham.  The calendar is in aid of our Birmingham Museums.

If you pop along to their Twitter feed (@BirminghamWeAre), you will see the calendar and some of the great photography they have amassed in the last few months.

What’s this got to do with Gin? Well, this Wednesday between 5pm and 7.30pm the Birmingham Gems 2018 calendar will be launched on the first floor of the Distillery, an open kitchen diner and Pub located on Sheepcote St, Birmingham, B16 8AE. 0121 200 2223.

The Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Anne Underwood will be present and all being well BBC Midlands Today.  I’ll be playing approx. 5.30pm and also 6.15pm.

Still asking, what’s this got to do with Gin? Well I was told that guests will have the opportunity to taste the Gin made at the Distillery.  Personally I’m Teetotal but if you’re not like me then you might fancy some Gin.

The calendar and large print canvases of some of the iconic photography will be on sale on the night.
