I just wanted to tell you something: Thank you.
For a limited time, you have the chance to sing up for live sax lesson with multi-award winning saxophonist Millicent Stephenson. This rare opportunity will allow you to get classes directly to your home through your favourite videoconference platform (Skype, Zoom, WhatsApp, etc.) and work with Millicent to achieve your own goals.
Tune in tomorrow at 6:30 PM through the Facebook fanpage and enjoy live songs, learn about all the projects and resources Millicent already has online, and get on board with exciting new projects in both this platform and Cafemnee.
The Valentines Comedy Special at Luton’s Library Theatre took place last Saturday 15th February and it was a delightful night! For those of you who couldn’t attend (and those who did and want to revisit the good memories) here is a clip of my take on Simon and Garfunkel’s beautiful song “Bridge Over Troubled Waters”. Hope it helps you start the week with a smile!
I am happy to say Sound Connections has invited me to make the keynote speech of their event “Get Business Ready”, dedicated to entrepreneurship in music.
Motivational and general advice towards a positive attitude is great and always useful in the music (or any) industry, where so many obstacles can get in the way of your progress and stability. However, to trully achieve success, you need more practical information, you need a concrete insight of how things work and what strategies can propel your career forward
How do you actually survive and find success as a solo artiste in music? Let’s start with a phrase you shall keep in mind: being solo doesn’t mean working alone. But what does that actually mean? Listen the new episode of Success Beyond The Score to find out.
Some of you are already familiar with Cafemnee, my project to empower women in music through education, promotion and networking. We have two big events per year, and the next one, called “Pleasing Your Audience”, is coming on Saturday 4th April.
If you like to watch events live and you would like to get snippets of my concerts, give me a follow on Instagram! The handle is @millicentstephensonsax
