Sax Girls Rock… Live!

For around seven years now, I have been in contact through Facebook with an American based community of female sax players known as Sax Girls Rock. It’s a lovely bunch full of talented women, and I’m pleased to say there’s finally a chance for those of you in the USA to meet some of its members live in concert!

Ernie D. Shelby, the owner of the original Facebook group, has put together a show. The concert will take place on August 3rd this year on West Las Vegas Library Theatre, and it will feature sax and vocal performances by six talented female musicians: Allana Southerland Prince, Joyce Spenser, Kim Jay, Lady Woodwind (Nancy Saenz), Theresa Graysin and Lady Sax (Ernie D. Shelby herself). On top of the show, you can also meet and greet the artists, browse the offer of selected vendors, and attend the wrap party at the Embassies Suites by Hilton Convention Centre. It’s going to be great!

I’m sad that I can attend, being here on the other side of the Atlantic. If you’re in the USA, though, I recommend you get your ticket on Eventbrite. If you have any questions, head to www.ladysax.com. Enjoy!
