Not Just Make-Up. The people behind my stage look.

Lights, sound, distance, movement… if not prepared, one can get lost among all the stuff on stage trying to catch the public’s attention. A striking and expressive look makes a big difference, and that is why I happily rely on a competent and creative team to make me shine.

Beverley Crichlow

As everything, my stage looks start with brainstorming and planning, and for that I have the invaluable help of Beverley, my image consultant. I met Beverley around Christmas time on the year I had my second child, and she really got me back in track, helping me understand, appreciate and take the best out of the new traits motherhood had given me. My kids are grown adults now, and so many years later, Beverley’s keen eye still helps me feel like a true star. In regards of my outfit, I have the help of Denisse, a quiet person who makes big statements through clothing.

Vanessa is the one who does my make-up for personal photos and shows. What I like about her is that she listens to me and takes my preferences and personality into account, achieving glamorous looks I feel trully comfortable with. As for my hair, I trust the skill of Samantha Gardner, from SGHair, who has been in charge of styling it for all the previous shows. Samantha has a great way to push me a bit out of my comfort zone to get fresh and original hairdos without making me feel insecure.

I think that defining a look to rock on stage is part of the creative process and it is something that I quite enjoy. When I step on stage this Friday July 26, I hope to surprise you with the results of the work of this amazing team. Make sure you don’t miss it by getting your tickets here:
