Valentine’s Day is approaching and love songs are invading the radio. It becomes a bit too much at times, doesn’t it? One can only handle so many lyrics full of idyllic nonsense and/or raunchy descriptions, intertwined with neverending ads that offer chocolate and flowers. It is easy to get distracted, and also, to consider romance as shallow and ephimerous as the way the market celebrates it.

In contrast to this, “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran celebrates long-lasting love, the kind that thrives like a little plant on the kitchen window when is watered with care. It is a good song to celebrate your significant other during Valentine’s Day, but also in any other occasion.
