Part of being a gigging musician is listening to all sorts of music in order to accommodate the requests of clients. That said, of course I don’t only listen to music for work. It is my passion and a great source of happiness to me, I enjoy it as it is!

In terms of genres, I have a soft spot for 70s and 80s disco. It is kind of my era, which makes it quite energising. Some artists that are always on my playlists are Earth, Wind and Fire; Commodores; Michael Jackson; Donna Summer; ABBA; Whitney Houston and Sister Sledge.

Speaking of the latter, I have a great memory from 2018, when they performed at a festival in my area. I attended with my husband, who got pulled to the stage while they sang their international hit, “He’s the Greatest Dancer”. You can watch the video of that brilliant moment on my YouTube channel:
