It’s Easter Sunday, it’s April, and spring is here to stay. Regardless of whether you observe Easter as part of your religion, I wish you a peaceful day and I invite you to reflect on the good things that still shine in your life, despite our turbulent times.

When Toyin Adekale invited me to participate in the recording of “I’m That Woman”, I read the lyrics and felt seen. It is a track I am proud to have contributed to, and I am happy to share it once again in occasion of International Women’s Day.
2025 saw me reaching a huge milestone: my first thousand YouTube subscribers. Not only that, but the views and interactions with my videos, both in short and long format, has steadily increased. It makes me very happy to know that my music and work are reaching more people!

I notice that I did not have any Christmas music on my YouTube channel, so this week I recorded Nat King Cole’s ‘The Christmas Song’, also ‘Mary’s Boy Child’, made famous by Boney M. What a great opportunity to put both my video and audio production skills to the test.
Whether you are spending tonight and tomorrow on your own or with others, I hope you have a wonderful time. It has been a hectic year, with many ups and downs, and Christmas is a good moment to stop for a bit, take in the blessings alongside a deep breath, and get energised by the feeling of gratitude.
As a sax player, I aim to keep and honour the essence of the original song when I cover it, while also bringing the qualities of the saxophone to it. Additionally —and this is the fun part— I embellish the piece with my own personal touch.
