Recently my Guest Blog 'Recently my Guest Blog 'The Journey Of A Menopausal Musician' for the Musicians Union caught the attention of Jemma Tanswell, the Director of Reform Radio Station in Manchester. Jemma invited me to be a Guest on their Round Table discussion for International Women's Day via Zoom.
Legendary singer Ken Boothe; Shalom (Singer) and Quincy (Comedian) are the latest addition to the line up for tomorrow's fantastic concert that I mentioned I'm performing in. Also it will now be on YouTube and Facebook. Instead of tickets the organisers are requesting donations.
Loving this. Why? A chance to absorb and capture the beauty of nature in winter. No rush. So plesant. You can hear a little traffic under the Bird songs.
Really please that the Active Well Being Society will be featuring my number 'It's All Good' performed with Dancers and the Not Just Jazz Bsnd at the Crescent Theatre, well before Lockdown was a thing. 😊

By the way, this year I’m planning to put on Not Jazz VI later in the year. I’ll be investigating how it can be done online as well as socially distanced if live shows are possible at that time.
So glad to get a call last week to pre-record for a Christmas Day service and the week before that a request to perform at a funeral service. Two socially distanced Gigs in one week 😊 but 10 months since my last Gig in Feb 😭
I'm here, hope you can join me.
As promised, here are the places you can join me tonight or early morning depending on which side of the Pond you are. 8pm EST/1am GMT

Last year I was interviewed by Sammy Stein, @sammystein123 the author of 'Women in Jazz' published by 8th House Books.  My story was to be included in her second book 'In Their Own Words', and two of my projects featured in her third book 'Gender Disparity in UK Jazz'.
