I mentioned on Thursday that I had found out that we in the UK can have our say about the distribution and treatment of the COVID-19 vaccine by Friday 18 September 2020. I hope you have managed to take a look and put your thoughts forward but if not this is a reminder.
I recently came across some important information and I had to let you know, just in case you were not aware. I will keep it light and brief. It has been a week since I performed my song “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” in occasion of the 58th anniversary of the independence of Jamaica. It was broadcasted during the service organized by the Association of Jamaican Nationals (AJN) to a lovely audience, getting good reception and commentary despite the fact I did not play live during the Zoom meeting. Today I performed ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ at the Association of Jamaican Nationals service of praise and thanksgiving, for the 58th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence. Although there is some easing in the UK, live performances are still not up and running so this event and my playing was a lockdown performance over Zoom and YouTube Live…
This week I was recording my performance of ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ for Sunday’s Gig. I was ploughing through the footage and came across some incidents where we had to touch things up before moving on. At the time I didn’t pay much attention to them as I was so focused on getting things right but watching back I found them funny and and I thought I’d share them with you. Hopefully they’ll bring a smile to your face too.
Today celebrates 30 episodes of my podcast ‘Success Beyond The Score’ for musicians, singer-songwriters, rappers and spoken word artiste who are finding their way through the music industry. Season 2 commences in the Autumn, so I’ve set some homework for followers to do to continue progressing their music while waiting for Episode 31.
I enjoyed myself so much a couple weeks back at Sax interpretations – female edition curated by Courtney Fadlin. Tonight the fun continues.
