We are only one day away from the event where I’ll reunite with the brilliant members of the Not Just Jazz Band after years of distance due to lockdown!
On Wednesday 7th June, I’ll be performing with the Not Just Jazz band and offering a live interview at the Legacy Centre in Birmingham.
Are there benefits for contacting the person who handles the microphones and amplification of sound at your gig in advance? Or is it best to wait until you get there?
The Herefordshire and Worcestershire chamber of commerce invited me to perform at their Chamber Business Awards ceremony for this year. It was great to go back to the stage, and the fact that it was a 360° one where I could be seen from all around made it even more exciting!
Livestreaming is one of those technological advancements that definitely changed the game for artists. We do not have to wait for our five minutes of fame in a TV channel to get on people’s screens anymore (although being a guest in a Late Night Show is still the dream!). But just as it is exciting, it can be intimidating to put on a livestream through YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or whichever platform you prefer.
