Time For My Music, my online project to empower women in the music industry, is open for subscriptions until today at 11:59pm UK time!
Time For My Music is there for all women who see a future in music when they look ahead. The industry is still male-dominated and there’s a lot to learn and do in order to open space for women. This community aims to close that gap by providing training and resources related to the music business.
‘Time For My Music’ is open for enrolment from today until Sunday 13th March! Women, join now and give a boost to your music career.
There is still one week left to donate to ‘Time For My Music’ cause: raising funds for the homeless through the charities CEO Sleepout and The House of St. Barnabas.
Today is the funeral of Carlene McKenzie, our dear member of Cafemnee and Time For My Music who passed away at the beginning of the year. To pay homage to her memory, the women of the group are going to perform ‘Swing Low, Sweet Chariot’ as a band, while I will do a solo rendition of ‘The Old Rugged Cross’.
The women of T4MM chose to support the charities “The House of St. Barnabas” and “CEO Sleepout” with their online evening performance.
Last Saturday, my project Time For My Music had an online evening performance, which was livestreamed through my YouTube channel. Among all the talented women who were in the show, we should have had the bright smile and powerful djembe of Carlene McKenzie, but unfortunately, she passed away at the beginning of the year.
The time has come! Time For My Music presents an evening performance by aspiring female musicians, raising funds for the homeless.
