Today, I performed at NEXT headquarters in Leicester for the celebration of Black History Month, and then headed back to Birmingham for the Time For My Music evening showcase. It was an eventful yet rewarding day!

It’s a reality! On Tuesday 29th October 2024, the women of Time For My Music will perform live at the MAC Theatre of Birmingham. Get ready for an evening of jazz, soul, gospel and reggae by these accomplished emerging musicians, in a show that’s sure to warm your heart in the midst of these progressively colder autumn days.
I’m delighted to announce that the first ever in-person concert by Time For My Music, my online membership group for emerging female musicians, will take place on Tuesday, 29th October 2024.
Time For My Music is preparing their first ever live concert in the city of Birmingham, UK. To be able to offer a great performance in November this year, we need your opinion in regard to funding.
I took a five sessions funding course with Vernon Hogg and Davies Okeowo from Oxford Innovation Advice. They taught me about the different ways I could try to get funding, what is expected from funding applications, grants and sponsorships, how to do a pitch, and what to have in mind while doing business, among other things.
Applications to the NatWest Accelerator programme are open. There’s also going to be a free discovery event and hub tour on Feb. 20th in Birmingham. Don’t let this chance pass!
In just a few weeks, my third and last cycle on the Natwest Accelerator programme will be over. One of the most valuable things it has brought me is human connections, so let me tell you about some of the fellow participants I’ve had the pleasure to work with.
