There are some things that happen once and when they do, it’s unforgettable. Last night at Juliet Fletcher’s 40 year celebration in UK Gospel is one of those things. The stage was graced with artiste, promoters and broadcasters that have influenced the UK Gospel scene over the past four decades. There were lots of moments of reunions, discovery and recollection. Hearing the accolades of local heroes, world shakers and BAFFTA and MOBO award winners made me feel proud and thrilled about UK Gospel music achievements. Who would have thought it when we were practising in the church hall way back when as teenagers where we would be today! Everyone last night could hold the stage with any global artiste and there would be no difference – and some have!
I am so privileged that Juliet recognised my 33 years in gospel music and invited me to play my original composition ‘It’s all good’ last night. Thanks Juliet. Check out the video below.
