I quite enjoy my work.  Last Wednesday I attended the launch of the Birmingham Gems 2018 charity calendar held at the Distillery.  The calendar contains eye-catching, ‘wow-factor’ pictures of landmarks within the City of Birmingham.  This year proceeds are going towards supporting Birmingham Museums. Prints are also available to order as A3 or A1 canvasses of each shot.  Can’t wait until I get mine 🙂

There were also interesting presentations about the historic and future plans of Roundhouse, a 19th century canal-side stables and stores valued by the National Trust.  We also heard about Gin making at the Distillery and of course the Birmingham Gems project.

Really cool to met the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Anne Underwood.  Nice to see another women taking the lead 🙂
