Yippee! My new microphone, a matt black and silver Samson C01, is here! So happy, it is my first ever studio quality microphone. It’s going to be a great help in developing my songwriting and recording.

There is so much more to a microphone than one would expect. Take a look at the specs, according to the manual:

This is just the surface, and there are a couple of things I don’t fully understand yet, but that just adds another layer of excitement, because there is more room to learn and experiment.
