Virtual Service With Music To Commemorate The Independence Of Jamaica

Jamaica gained independence from the United Kingdom on August 6th, 1962. That means that today is the 58th anniversary of this very important event! To commemorate and celebrate the occasion, the Association of Jamaican Nationals (AJN) of Birmingham here in the UK will celebrate a service via Zoom this Sunday, August 9th, at 3:00 PM BST.

The service has no entry fee and you don’t have to register previously either. Bishop Mike Royal will be the guest speaker, and you will be able to listen to Lurine Cato, Steve Higgings and myself playing music.

Also, if you want to see more content by the AJN Birmingham, they recently created a YouTube channel. You can find it clicking this link.
