Baton Awards 2022: Thank You

Shining a spotlight on women from a diverse racial group, The Baton Awards: Celebrating women from a diverse racial group from the Past, Present and Future, were founded by Dr Diahanne Rhiney BCAe to encourage women from a diverse racial group to overcome barriers to success in industries and professions where women from a diverse racial group struggle to be recognised.

The Baton Awards (About)

As I mentioned a few days ago, I was nominated as a Thought Leader for the Baton Awards 2022. This made me very happy and proud because it told me that my work with Success Beyond The Score and Time For My Music is having a positive impact and being recognised.

The decision of the winners was taken by a panel of experts, with no votes by the general public involved. The awards ceremony took place last Thursday 24th November. Sadly, I could not attend for personal reasons. The winner of my category was Adefunke Larigo, about whom you can learn more on her Instagram account. Congratulations!

I want to thank the Baton Awards for nominating me and making my work more visible. I also want to take a moment to say I read every good wish, congratulation and word of encouragement left across my social media since I made the nomination public. Thank you, everybody, I really, really appreciate your support!
