JR Robinson is one of the most recorded drummers of all time. From pop to rock, funk, jazz, R&B, country and more, his talent can be found in hundreds of number one hits across decades. He’s most famous for his work with the legendary producer Quincy Jones. Among many other achievements, these two men are responsible for the iconic drum fill that kicks off Michael Jackson’s 1979 chart topper ‘Rock With You’.
