The Kyoto Tachibana Junior and Senior High School ranks first among the private high schools of the Kyoto Prefecture of Japan. Beyond their academic achievements, the talented students there are widely known for their fantastic brass band, whose YouTube channel has more than 30,000 subscribers.

The enormous band has a varied repertoire that they can play in two different ways: seating, or standing. The former is more traditional, whilst the latter gives them the possibility to add dance to the performance, making for a delightful show. The band tours successfully both in and out of Japan, bringing to the stage excellent interpretations of popular songs like Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk:
