While I have as many gigs as ever, many of them aren’t open to the public. Besides sporadic exceptions, like the Caribbean Takeover at the National Maritime Museum of Greenwich last May, or my performances at Heathrow terminals 3 and 5 on occasion of Black History Month, more often than not I’m booked by corporations or private clients for events without tickets.
The good news is that there’s an opportunity to see me perform live coming up. On Saturday 14th September, those who got tickets will be able to enjoy my music at Cornita Taylor‘s lymphoma awareness and book launch diner and dance! Now, I saw “those who got tickets” because the not-so-good news is that the event is sold out already.
Considering that both the book and the event aim to spread awareness about the cancer of the lymphatic system (known as lymphoma), these successful sales are quite positive.
