It's been a while, but I playing live with the Band on Wed 7th June, 7.30pm at the Legacy Centre, Potters Lane, Aston, Birmingham, UK.
Second day on natwest Accelerator. Takung my music business further 😊👍🏿
So pleased to be accepted onto the second stage of the NatWest Accelerator programme. Yippee!
It has been a year since the song "I’m That Woman", by Toyin Adekale and friends, was released. This track is perfect for the commemoration of International Women’s Day, as it is the culmination of Toyin’s dreams of sisterhood and artistic collaboration among women.
As I mentioned a few days ago, I was nominated as a Thought Leader for the @thebatonawards 2022. This made me very happy and proud because it told me that my work is having a positive impact and being recognised.
I enjoyed this one. Playing while the guests are being checked in for the Black Women's Award ceremony at the Botanical Gardens Birmingham.
I am overjoyed! I am a Thought Leader finalist for the Baton Awards, which seek to shine a spotlight on women from a diverse racial group across the past, present and future. Thanks to @thebatonawards for recognising The ceremony will take place on November 24th and tickets are available on the awards' website.
Musicians' Union Membets' Conference kicked off with brilliant speeches by Naomi Pohl (MU General Secretary), Alex Casgoine (MU EC Chair) and Tracy Brabin (Mayor of West Yorkshire). Amazing atmosphere!

Rocking day! At the Birmingham 2022 Festival which ran alongside the Commonwealth Games. Great vibe.
There are two questions I ask myself once a Gig is confirmed.  Can you guess what they are? Let me count you down while you think of what my answer is.  Here we go, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!  
So stoked to be invited to play at the Commonwealth games tomorrow. I'll be in Victoria Square, 2.30pm and 4.30pm.
