On August 9th this year, I performed at the Association of Jamaican Nationals service of praise and thanksgiving, for the 58th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence. Safety measures and lockdown were more strict at that moment, so the concert was held over Zoom and YouTube Live and my performance was pre-recorded.
As the director of Cafemnee, I am proud to present ‘Time for My Music’, an online community group that evolved from the virtual activities we made during the lockdown and that aims to offer a space for females in music to connect, share, learn and advance themselves.
