The Governor General of Jamaica

I  had the privilege of playing for the His Excellency The Most Hon. Sir Patrick Allen, ON, GCMG, CD of Jamaica most recently.  His speech on the economic direction for Jamaica as a business hub in the Caribbean was most inspiring.  We sometimes focus on the beaches, food and the crime of the country but if what I heard comes to pass, and I hope it does, Jamaica will be pretty impressive!

By the way,  at this event my main tracks were ‘Summertime’ (George Gershwin), ‘Three little birds’ (Bob Marley), ‘Carry mi ackee’ & ‘Lang time gal’  (Traditional Jamaican folk songs) and my own composition ‘It’s all Good’.   Sir Patrick said he enjoyed all my songs but particularly liked ‘It’s all good’ – Yeah! 🙂
