Some days ago, the government formally announced that indoor performances with the required measures of prevention and social distance can take place again starting August 1st, which is this Saturday. The good news came like a ray of hope to thousands of artistes across the country who have remained without their main source of income since March. I myself am very happy with it, and because I want this decision to last, I ask of everybody who is in this business, including promoters, venue owners, musicians and the public, to be very rigorous with the safety and sanitary rules. In this way, our activities will not spread the virus further, safeguarding our health and that of our loved ones, while ensuring that the governemnt doesn’t shut concerts down again.
