A perk of performing for all kinds of events is that I get to have a lot of fun participating in creative set ups. A few months ago, for example, Krantz Designs invited me to play at their 1920’s themed Christmas corporate event, and it was a blast!
Flapper dresses and pinstripe suits, feathery scarfs and furry coats, bow ties and long gloves, every attendant looked the part and the party felt like taken straight out of The Great Gatsby. As Jazz was the leading music style of the times, I used my sax to give a jazz twist to popular hits of this century like Levitating by Dua Lipa, Living on a Prayer by Bon Jovi or Crazy in Love by Beyoncé.
I also got to keep the little memento you can see in the cover picture of this article. Isn’t it neat? Many thanks to Krantz Designs for the invitation to this trip to the past and for counting with me again for other events. If you follow me on Instagram, you know what I’m talking about 😉
