Giving music, movies, videogames, online vouchers and subscriptions as Christmas gifts might seem a bit impersonal at first, but they can actually make for fab gifts.
In the third episode of Beyond The Score, Millicent explains some strategies for you to get where you want with your music career instead of waiting for someone else to make it happen.
How do you think about your age? How do you feel about it, and about the age of your peers? Is it elevating your music, or decimating it? Listen to Millicent’s take in the second episode of the podcast “Beyond The Score”
A limited edition copy of my single “Take Me To The King” was part of the goodies of Not Just Jazz 5 VIP tickets. Another limited batch will be made available very soon. Do you want one for yourself? Stay tunned.
It is hard to believe the concert will take place next Friday. Time flies when you are working hard, after all, but don’t let the fact that there are just a few days left fool you: we still have tons of info to share about the team that makes Not Just Jazz possible, and we have not revealed all the surprises we have in store in regards of the tickets yet either 😉
From now until the day of the concert, you will receive one of my songs for free when buying a NJJ5 ticket. Just check your inbox after your purchase and you will see how to proceed. This applies to all methods of payment!
Since 2018, the UK committed to celebrate Windrush Day every year on June 22, to honor the British Caribbean community. For the ocassion, the Musicians Union invited Millicent to write for the guest blog, exploring the impact that the Windrush Generation has had on her and the British music scene as a whole.
‘Superstition’ by Stevie Wonder was one of the highlights of Millicent’s overall amazing performance at the first ever carnival in Leatherhead, which took place on May 27th. It will also be part of Not Just Jazz 5, Millicent’s own annual show. Get your tickets today!
May is almost over, and soon a new musician will be featured in A-Spire magazine. This does not mean that the interview that I had with them after winning the April contest will be taken off the site, but hey, while it is still fresh and in the front page, better to give it a listen, right? 😉
