The BBC Charter is a document granted by the King that provides the legal right for the BBC to exist and operate. It dictates how the BBC acts and what its objectives are. As you may already suspect, the BBC is one of the biggest employers of musicians in the UK. This means that it is vital for everybody in the British music industry to help shape the charter’s renewal by providing perspective and information.
Success Beyond the Score is a project born from my willingness to support men and women in their music journey. The website centralises resources like my podcast, courses, writings and mentoring opportunities. Since I opened it, it has already helped people at different stages of their careers to achieve their goals.
There’s currently an independent Curriculum and Assessment Review going on, and anyone can make their opinion count by responding to it on the Government’s website until this Friday, 22nd November.
