On December 7th, 2024, I took part in ‘You Bet!’, ITV’s game show where both a panel of celebrities and the audience try to guess whether contestants will be able to overcome challenges for a good cause. My task? Blow out an incredible amount of candles.

For a long while now, I’ve performed at the charity’s yearly Fundraising Gala Ball of the Erma’s Jamaica Hospital Appeal Fund UK. 2023 marked the 25th anniversary of the event, and its sponsor British Airways celebrated by stepping up their support to the cause.
After playing for their amazing 1920s themed Christmas party last year, Krantz Designs invited me to perform again, this time for a great cause.

September 21st is the chosen date to celebrate the 21st anniversary gala of this important charity, which was established in April 1998, following the very bad flooding and landslide that occurred in January 1998, in Portland, Jamaica, in which many people lost their homes and lives.
Erma’s Jamaica Hospital Appeal Fund UK is a charity which provides material aid and support to disabled & disadvantaged children & adults internationally since April 1998. To celebrate 21 years of activity, they will offer a gala ball where you can find Millicent playing live on Saturday 21st September.
SHAPE is a housing charity project born with the aim to provide women trapped in that vicious circle with a safe environment where they can feel empowered to live and function in society. WIth NJJ5, I want to support them.
