Last Saturday, I travelled to Cambridge to have a wonderful six hours sax repair workshop with Daniel Bangham and Paul Windridge, tutors and instrument repairers, makers and restorers from Cambridge Woodwind Makers.
Back in 2018, I played the sax at Zillah Brown’s 100th birthday party. She lived until July this year, and today, when she would’ve become 106 years old, her family invited me to play at her funeral viewing in order to celebrate her life and legacy.

They taught me about the different ways I could try to get funding, what is expected from funding applications, grants and sponsorships, how to do a pitch, and what to have in mind while doing business, among other things.
