It has been a bit over a year of lockdown now. People of every profession have had to reinvent themselves and find ways to keep working and creating from home. Musicians are no exception: technology became our best friend and we went on digital stages to keep sharing our art with the world.
In occasion of the 58th Anniversary of Jamaican Independence, back in July this year, the Association of Jamaican Nationals of Birmingham here in the UK held a virtual event through Zoom. To enliven the celebration, I offered a virtual performance in which I played ‘Bridge Over Troubled Waters’ by Simon & Garfunkel. On August 9th this year, I performed at the Association of Jamaican Nationals service of praise and thanksgiving, for the 58th anniversary of Jamaica’s independence. Safety measures and lockdown were more strict at that moment, so the concert was held over Zoom and YouTube Live and my performance was pre-recorded.

The Valentines Comedy Special at Luton’s Library Theatre took place last Saturday 15th February and it was a delightful night!
